Ali Awad’s talent and passion for arts and especially cubism art were aroused from the early 1970s where it started in Holland and Hungary. Since then he has been striving to discover, innovate and get inspired to create his own style. His artworks are totally distinguishable and unique due to his rich and authentic background inspired by Southern Yemen where he was born, Kenya and Nairobi. Ali Awad rose to become head of the Fine Art Department at the South Yemen Ministry of Culture, he was a founding member of the General Union of Arab Artists (GUAA), and later, a member of the World Art Society, in his quest to expand in both mind and medium. He continues his artistic journey with his international exhibitions which got the power to talk about themselves thanks to its exceptional artworks based on his rich imagination and historical rhythm, and that was clear in his Balqees Legend and Hodhod Solomon exquisite artworks that were celebrated in his exhibitions.

Ali Awad created himself a unique style and methodology that is frequently developed to brilliantly follow up with the latest global artistic concepts.
